VICTEC EUROPE - Advancing Microwave Technology By Design™
VICTEC EUROPE is a UK registered company based in London.
VICTEC EUROPE has been pioneering high-temperature microwave technology since 2005. Since that time we have created a global network of microwave expertise. However, as microwave technology can be applied to wide variety of materials - we have chosen to focus on the Microwave Melting of Glass, Microwave Synthesis and Sintering.
We have close cooperation with three leading Institutes: The Material Research Institute at Pennsylvania State University, USA, the Institute of Chemical Process Fundamentals, Prague, Czech Republic, and the Institute of Material Sciences at the Slovak Academy in Kosice, Slovak Republic.
VICTEC EUROPE are the exclusive European Partners for Enerzi Microwave Systems Pvt., Ltd, Bangalore, India.
THE TECHNOLOGY
The Advantages of Industrial Microwave Technology: Overview
High-temperature microwave processing can provide substantial economic and environmental advantages over traditional processes as a result of a combination of several factors: reduced processing times, lower processing temperatures, reduced consumable costs (in certain cases), fewer pollutants, and energy savings in addition to improvements in product properties.
The application also involves substantially reduced, or near zero production of environmentally harmful emissions, thereby making this a 'greener' technology as well. In short, with a smaller physical footprint, and a substantially smaller carbon footprint, microwave furnaces offer lower operating and end product costs.
- Microwave technology is faster, greener, and a more energy efficient alternative for industry
- Microwave systems can reduce energy usage by 60% and improve product throughput time by 70% over conventional systems depending upon the material composition.
- Microwave systems promote a safer and cleaner working environment as there is no pollutant exhaust gas or waste residue.
Industrial microwave technology encourages innovative new opportunities in material areas which up to now may have been deemed impossible, or impractical.
